SPA area rules
- The opening hours of the SPA area are from 8:00 to 22:00 every day.
- SPA area for guests with children up to 14 years old is open from 10:00 to 20:00 daily.
- Children under 16 years of age and disabled persons may only visit the spa area if accompanied by an adult who is fully responsible for their safety and compliance with the rules of the Complex.
- The following are prohibited in the spa area:
- visiting the area for persons suffering from infectious or contagious skin diseases, open wounds, or any other ailments that endanger their safety or the safety of other guests;
- visiting the area for persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or psychotropic substances, as well as using such substances or alcohol in the Complex;
- running, jumping into the jacuzzi, jostling, making noise, or otherwise disturbing the peace and rest of other guests, or being in the water while chewing gum;
- pouring any liquid (water, extracts, etc.) on the sauna heating elements, walls, and dry sauna benches;
- taking photographs or videos of other guests without their consent;
- bringing baby strollers into the jacuzzi and sauna area. - Guests must shower before using the jacuzzi, or sauna and after using the sauna.
- Entering and leaving the jacuzzi is only permitted via the steps or ladders provided.
- In the SPA area, guests must wear swimwear and slippers suitable for wet and slippery environments. The floor in the spa area may be slippery, so please take care.
- Long hair must be tied or pinned up.
- It is recommended not to wear jewellery in the spa area. Jewellery is not allowed in the saunas. Guests are responsible for the safety of their jewellery.
- Children under 3 years of age must wear swim diapers in the jacuzzi.
- It is not recommended for children to use the sauna.
- It is recommended that children under 16 years of age or no taller than 130 cm should only use the jacuzzi when accompanied by a supervising adult.
- It is recommended to wear a non-sinking swimming vest in the jacuzzi if you cannot swim or have a medical condition that may cause unexpected cardiac or coordination problems or unconsciousness, etc.
- In the dry sauna, it is compulsory to use a towel when sitting or lying on the benches. For the correct use of the saunas, please refer to the sauna use instructions available in the spa area.
- Only unbreakable containers may be used in the spa area.
- In case of health problems or injuries, please contact reception immediately.
- Spa towels and bathrobes are the property of MONIST and can only be used in the spa area or at the hotel.
- It is recommended not to use mobile phones in the spa area. If necessary, use it in silent mode.
- All guests using the services provided by the Spa are obliged to read and comply with these rules. Guests are responsible for the consequences of any failure to comply with or ignorance of these rules.
The cleaner working at the time is responsible for keeping the spa area tidy and for ensuring that these rules are followed. The responsible staff of the spa area shall have the right to remove from the spa area any undisciplined guests who do not comply with these rules or the instructions of the spa area staff.
Sauna use instructions
- Make sure to shower before and after using the baths and after using the toilets.
- Using the sauna 2-3 hours after eating is recommended.
- Before and after using a sauna, drink as much fluid as possible, such as water or herbal tea.
- Take a responsible assessment of your health, and do not use the sauna if the heat could make you feel worse. In case of health problems or injuries, please contact reception immediately.
- Children are not recommended to use the sauna. Children under 14 years of age are not allowed in the sauna alone.
- Swimwear must be worn in the sauna.
- Keep your distance, keep quiet, and do not disturb the peace and quiet of other guests in the sauna.
- When entering the sauna, leave your slippers at the entrance to the sauna.
- In the dry sauna, it is only allowed to sit or lie on a lounger with a towel covering the whole area under your body.
- It is recommended to stay for 5-7 minutes on the lowest step of the sauna during the first round of using the sauna. After cooling down, you can return to the sauna, stay for 8-15 minutes, and choose a higher seat.
- After the sauna, it is recommended to lie down and rest. When resting in the lounge (on the loungers or chairs), a towel should be placed under the whole body.
- It is forbidden in the sauna:
- visiting for persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or psychotropic substances;
- visiting for persons suffering from infectious or contagious skin diseases, open wounds, or ailments which endanger their own safety or that of other guests
- pouring any liquid (water, extracts, etc.) on the sauna heating elements, walls, and sauna beds;
- using cosmetic products (shampoos, scrubs, masks, etc.) that you have brought with you;
- wearing jewellery;
- adjusting the appliances in the sauna rooms or otherwise damaging the sauna facilities;
- bringing food or drinks into the saunas. - The heating elements in the sauna are hot, so use caution and do not touch them.
- If you notice any malfunction of the sauna equipment, please inform the cleaner in charge of the spa area immediately.
- Guests, children, and persons accompanying them are responsible for the consequences of failure to observe or ignorance of these instructions.
